In 1993, Chosen Few became a quartet as Terry left and David Fountain from Milan, Tennessee and Jody Medford, from Asheville, North Carolina, joined the group.

David was already living in Branson, but Jody had to make the big move. Jody had sung with Squire Parsons and the Anchormen before joining Chosen Few.

The four guys rehearsed in Ashley's grandparent's home for their first performance at the First Baptist Church in Branson, Missouri. They then auditioned at Silver Dollar City for the position of House Gospel Group.

The audition took place outside in freezing temperatures — the four were hired on the spot.  (See News Article 1)

Once at work at Silver Dollar City, bass player, Forest Riche, was added and the group quickly gained a following.

On August 28, 1993, Chosen Few hosted their very first Homecoming Concert in Reed's Spring, Missouri with guests, Barbara Fairchild, Priority and original member, Terry Kaufman. (See News Article 2)
