In 1997, David left the group to pursue other interests and was replaced by Ashley's youngest brother, Casey Ellison.

Silver Dollar City asked Chosen Few to headline their 4,000 seat outdoor night time show. With Casey now singing lead, the group began to pick up a younger fan base, especially since Casey was Single, saved and searching!!!

In December of 1999, Chosen Few signed a national record deal with Journey Records in Nashville, Tennessee.

The first national recording was titled, "Great Big God" with their first radio single being an old Nat King Cole song, "The First Baseball Game".

In 2001, the group's second national release garnered greater success, culminating with the guys winning "Progressive Southern Gospel Song of the Year" for "Little Things".

By the end of 2001, Chosen Few had won "Show of the Year" in the Branson music awards but decided to leave Silver Dollar City to pursue ministry full time. They toured together until 2005. Today, the guys occasionally perform reunion concerts and are still the best of friends.
